G'day my good friends in ECHO Patrol.

I am aware that most of you have already undertook specific patrols and raids with a relatively high rate of success, so, for the few that haven't gotten to be apart of the fun, you have the green light after reading this thread.

How to Patrol/Raid

Patrolling and Raiding is a relatively simple concept, that consists of the following elements;

1.) Organization
2.) Maximum Area Coverage
3.) Alert System
4.) Fast Reaction Time
5.) Immediate Orders

1.) Organization

The organization of any patrol and raid is important, a patrol within ECHO is required to have two or more individuals, with one of the members of a minimum rank of Fire-Team Leader. A decent/recommended patrol consists of 5-6 people (A squad). When patrolling, it is wise for the lower ranks to spread out in an area while the higher ranks supervise from a rally point. A rally point is an area of which a raid can be accumulated, a patrol can fall back to, and/or lower ranks can report to higher ranks regarding findings. Raids should consist of at least 6 people, with a recommended 12 person-raid (but you are encouraged to have more participants). In raids, you are authorized to link with resources outside of ECHO Patrol (as you can with other patrol groups) to gain more personell for raids.

2.) Maximum Area Coverage

When patrolling it is essential to cover the most area as possible. You can do this by having small patrol-groups in separate rooms that are interconnected via teleports, in this situation it is wise to have at least 2 patrollers in each room, with the supervising ranks in the main room, or HUB so that the patrols can come back when necessary.

3.) Alert System

There is always a reason for patrols. Should any patrol member find something illegal/suspiciousworthy of investigation during a patrol, they are to contact their official supervisor (Squad Leader, etc...) and he/she will determine the course of action. It is EXTREMELY important to ensure that the supervisor is notified as soon as something interesting turns up, that way the patrol can take immediate action.

In ECHO, we have several tiers of alert/alert-readiness

Green - Within friendly territory, little/no reason to fear of any hostile activities.
Blue - Within unknown/unexplored territory, area secured, patrol/raid branching out.
Yellow - Within unknown/unexplored/neutral territory, area not-secured, patrol/raid organizing/branching out.
Red - Within hostile/unfriendly territory, area unsecured, hostile presence detected, patrol/raid organized and conducting operations.
Black - Within hostile territory, under attack, raid/patrol failure imminent, drastic action/retreat required.

Five alerts for five situations.

4.) Fast Reaction Time

In ECHO, time is of the essence.

We depend heavily upon the momentum granted by speed to inflict the maximum damage and the maximum area-exploration done as possible. When something turns up in a patrol, you are to immediately consult your supervisors for action. Because of the time-consumption of informing supervisors, below is a list of pre-typed commands for you to use when reporting or notifying ECHO personell.

5.) Immediate Orders

Lower to Higher Rank Commands:

<#> Hostile(s) Sighted at - Criminal/Hostile presence detected within a certain area, you use this to notify supervisors of an unfriendly presence within your patrol-area.

<#> Friendly Assets Inbound, ETA

1.) Roboman9876
2.) Squad 2 Fireteam Leader
3.) 1. Organization
2. Maximum Area Coverage
3. Alert System
4.) Within unknown/unexplored territory, area secured, patrol/raid branching out.
5.) Commands all local assets to converge on the supervisor's position, if patrol/raid assets are in different rooms than the supervisor, then the supervisor will order personell to notify them of the command.
6.) 2
7.) Criminal/Hostile presence detected within a certain area, you use this to notify supervisors of an unfriendly presence within your patrol-area.
8.) A group that has succeeded in th EPF and has been chosen out of many to be apart of an Elite group that shows they are smart, advanced, and trained

1.) What is your habbo username? red104
2.) What is your ECHO position? Echo Supervisor

3.) Name at least 3 of the 5 concepts regarding patrols/raids.
-> Organization: Basically, the lower ranks spread out around the area while the leader stays in a rally point to direct his/her team to the objective of the mission. A rally point could be used as a kind of HQ where the leader reports back to supervisors, and where the lower ranks could report back when they have found something.
-> Alert System: There are 5 types of alerts. Patrols always have an alert. When a lower rank finds something, they must report back to the supervisor to find out what the new course (if there's any) is. The levels of alerts, from lowest to greatest is: Green (friendly territory, little to no fear), Blue (Unknown territory, area secured), Yellow (Unknown territory, area not secured), Red (Hostile territory, area not secured, hostile threat), and Black (Hostile territory, Under attack, failure imminent).
-> Fast Reaction Time: When you hear that there's a situation, you must report to the supervisors to immediately know the course of action. Time, for ECHO, is one of the most precious things there is. It might be the line between a success and a failure.
-> Maximum Area Coverage: The goal of patrolling is to cover the most area possible. For that to happen, it is recommended to be patrolling the rooms with a tele that links them and their leader/supervisor to stay in the main room to plan the courses of action.

4.) What leads to a 'Blue' Alert?
When you're patrolling an Unknown/Unexplored territory which is secured, it's considered 'Blue' Alert.

5.) What does the command 'Regroup!' mean?
When the supervisor calls out 'Regroup!' the lower ranks must stop their patrolling and go back to the Supervisor's position to report their findings.

6.) What is the minimum number of patrollers for each room that does not have a supervisor in it?
Two patrollers minimum in a room with no supervisor in it.

7.) What does '<#> Hostile(s) Sighted at ' mean?
This means the number of hostile presences spotted in an area. This is used to notify the supervisors of any unfriendly presences.

8.) In your own words, what does Echo Patrol mean to you?
ECHO Patrol is more than just a tag in my motto. ECHO patrol means that habbo is safe from any threats that will try to tear it down. ECHO is a group of police men and women who have been chosen out of many to take part in the future of habbo.
